Sharp Display Solutions Releases a New Q-SYS™ Verified Plugin for Sharp and NEC large format displays

Munich – 7 July, 2026 – Sharp Display Solutions Europe, the audio-visual technology business divisions of Sharp Europe, today announce its new Q-SYS Verified Plugin for Sharp and NEC large format displays, including current Sharp display models and legacy NEC models. As a contributor to the Q-SYS Ecosystem, Sharp Display Solutions collaborated with Q-SYS to create a market-ready control solution that integrates display control including power, input selection, volume, and mute, as well as status monitoring into the Q-SYS Full Stack AV Platform.

Sharp Display Solutions worked closely with Q-SYS, who has awarded the following integrations with a “Q-SYS Verified” badge (developed with Q-SYS and supported by Control Concepts and Q-SYS):

  • Current Sharp large format displays, including legacy NEC large format displays.
  • Plugin integration support includes key display functions, including power, input selection, audio, brightness, diagnostics and status monitoring. There is also flexibility to access other display functions using Sharp’s expansive control set.
  • Available now in Q-SYS Library | SHARP Displays

This is part of a shift toward simpler integration for partners, making it easier to specify Sharp in projects where Q-SYS is the designated control platform.
