Sharp/NEC and OMNEX Support MediCinema with Projector Technology for Unforgettable Cinematic Experiences

Munich July 15, 2025 – Sharp NEC Display Solutions Europe a global leader in innovative display solutions, is proud to support the work of MediCinema, a UK charity dedicated to delivering therapeutic cinema experiences for hospital patients and their families. This project, delivered in close collaboration with trusted integration partner OMNEX, highlights a shared commitment to using technology to make a meaningful impact where it truly matters.

MediCinema’s mission is to bring the transformative power of the shared cinema experience into hospitals, providing patients with a much-needed sense of normality, distraction, and emotional relief. The latest installation of a state-of-the-art Sharp/NEC projector at MediCinema’s newest cinema at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool, enhances this experience by delivering high-quality, reliable visual performance in a hospital-safe environment.

OMNEX, who provide ongoing technical support and service for all MediCinema venues, played a central role in the successful delivery of this project. With a deep understanding of MediCinema’s operational needs and a longstanding relationship built on flexibility and trust, the Omnex team ensured a seamless and thoughtful installation.
